Showmaster spent more than thirty days as site and safety manager of a Moulin Rouge themed 21st Birthday Party the biggest private event of 2008.
In 2008 Showmaster provided a series of Safety Passport courses for PRG Europe, Showforce, Hawthorn Theatrical and SSE Audio Group.
In July 2005 Showmaster was asked to deliver a community cohesion project for Coventry Partnership on a consultancy basis. The project, known as SHaRe, had been intended as a two year initiative “Celebrating Diversity Through Events” but had a mere nine months remaining of this period.
In conjunction with a multitude of existing agencies and community groups, SHaRe supported a variety of events including:
* 2 youth film projects.
* A 22 venue, 146 event live music festival.
* A new football tournament
* A new city-wide youth swimming gala
* The city centre Diwali celebration
* The launch of Coventry Music Network
* The International Band of Friendship
* The Women’s Festival
* The Peace Festival
* The In-The-Mix multi-media project at Warwick Arts Centre.
SHaRe also published an outdoor event safety guide for community groups which is being adopted by several Local Authorities.
