Showmaster has been involved with the launch of the Events Industry Safety Passport, and is now an accredited passport tutor.
October 2006
Showmaster worked with the Department of Enjoyment.org CIC (Community Interest Company) and was responsible for production and Health & Safety of the relaunch of the Hay-On-Fire community festival.
June - September 2006
For the sixth year running Showmaster has been supporting the London Borough of Barnets' community festival programme, providing technical back-up and consultancy, H&S supervision and general mentoring services.
May 2006
In May, Showmaster relocated to Hay-on-Wye, becoming involved with the formation of the Department of Enjoyment.org CIC (Community Interest Company) planning an oral history project called Borders Belief and the re-launch of the annual Hay-on-Fire spectacular as a result of widespread public demand.
July 2005 - May 2006
In July 2005 Showmaster was asked to deliver a community cohesion project for Coventry Partnership on a consultancy basis. The project, known as SHaRe, had been intended as a two year initiative "Celebrating Diversity Through Events" but had a mere nine months remaining of this period.
In conjunction with a multitude of existing agencies and community groups, SHaRe supported a variety of events including:
SHaRe also published an outdoor event safety guide for community groups which is being adopted by several Local Authorities.
