The Production Services Association (PSA) is the trade association for companies and individuals involved in the live event production industry.
Planning, Procurement, Production, Performance...... It's what we do!
Planning.
Licence applications and consultancy, liaising with statutory bodies and the emergency services, site locating and design, contractor evaluation, tender seeking, logistic requirements and, most importantly, the provision of risk assessments and health and safety policies.
Procurement.
Negotiating with statutory bodies and service suppliers, specialist contractors and local businesses, locating alternative suppliers, crew recruitment and consultation on artiste choice and marketing.
Production.
Build scheduling and logistics, site layout, supervising and monitoring contractors, supervision of service provision, training volunteer staff, co-ordinating stewarding and team building, problem solving and liaising with local authority bodies.
Performance.
Artiste liaison and logistics, public safety, site management, technical support, stage management, event monitoring and control, crew and contractor supervision, clean up and site restoration, post production reports and event evaluation.
